  • Congratulations to Truby Lipham for winning ALTC's 2017-18 Ida S. Baker Diversity Educator of the Year!

  • Congratulations to Carla Dennard for winning ALTC's 2017-18 Teacher of the Year!
  • Our Veterinary Assisting students have had 100% pass rate on their Certification exam for three years running.
  • ALTC is the sponsoring college for the newly opened Hillsborough County Fire Rescue Academy.  The first fire fighter class graduated in January 2018.
  • Three of our Veterinary Assisting students were chosen by Hillsborough County Animal Services to train as Dog Activity Specialists.  This was a pilot program for Hillsborough County.  Studies have shown that kennel animals who are given the opportunity to socialize and exercise on a regular basis are less aggressive and happier animals overall.
  • On January 14, 2015, Aparicio-Levy Technical College was chosen as the location for Governor Scott's press conference on education.  
  • Congratulations to Dr. Donna Brooks, Assistant Principal, for being awarded the Hillsborough Technical Career and Adult Association's 2017-2018 Director's Award and 2017-2018 Outstanding Assistant Principal - Technical College award.
